ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The following is provided to help you in planning your function:

Ballroom Booking:

In order to guarantee the date and time of your banquet function, Pastimes must have a signed contract and a deposit of $1500. A non-refundable $750.00 deposit is the minimum charge for booking all Ballroom functions. Booking is accomplished on a first come, first served basis. A $200 deposit is required to book one of our DJ staff.

Banquet Schedule:

All Banquet and Wedding functions are to be completed in FOUR hours. All events requiring more than four hours are subject to overtime charges of $250.00 per hour ($100.00 per hour for DJ overtime Charge). These arrangements should be made in advance.

Cake Service Fee:

A cake service fee of $75 will be charged for cake cutting and serving.

DJ Service & Set Up Fee:

A service fee of $75 will be charged for set up for outside DJ Services.

Gratuities:

Twenty (20) percent gratuities will be applied to your total food and beverage cost.

State Sales Tax:

Six (6) percent Maryland State Sales Tax will be applied to your total bill. Maryland law requires us to charge Sales Tax on collected gratuities.

Room Charges:

There will be a room service and set up fee for all functions. These set-up fees vary according to the function and set up requirements.

Damages:

Any damages to Pastimes properties, facilities, employees or other contracted vendors (i.e. DJ, Band, Photographer, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the event sponsor.

Smoke Free Banquet Facility:

Our Ballroom Banquet Facility is a Smoke Free Environment.

Payments:

Balance of payment is due on the date of your function.

*No food or beverage purchased outside Pastimes is permitted in the banquet facility.
